August 2022 Citizenship Applications

March 2nd, 2023 was the last date when my file was updated. After that, there has been no update.
Everything is completed except for the citizenship ceremony (Not Started).
Is anyone in the same boat?
My File is in the Vancouver office.

Vancouver office here too. All steps are complete as of April 18, except ceremony not started. No updates since, as they went on strike.
Hope to hear some updates soon.

I got the email today morning at around 10:30am for tomorrow's In person Interview :

"
Dear Applicant,

Please be advised that your scheduled appointment for Thursday, April 27, 2023 has been cancelled, due to the current labour disruption. You will automatically be rescheduled after the labour disruption has ended.

IRCC Scarborough"

I just got email from IRCC Scarborough . Now, the revised interview date is May 16th 2023.

Any idea about the timeline between citizenship interview and oath ceremony? I gave my interview on 13th April, no change on the LPP till now.

My Tracker just got updated to :
LPP: In Progress.
Test: Completed 12 April
Background : Completed 14 Dec
Oath: Not started
I think they are speeding things up now that the strike is over.

My oath ceremony was scheduled for May 1 and was cancelled due to the strike. My tracker has now been updated to show oath ceremony scheduled for May 31. Much later than we’d hoped but at least it’s progress. Good luck to everyone still waiting.

Today was the day for oath ceremony for my family . it was on zoom . all went well. sent signed oath doc. Will wait for certificate . this fourm was very helpful . Thanks to all contributors . Hope everyone who are looking to complete this process would reach soon this stage .

No update for me since test completion on March 22

I also completed the test in first week of April. BG completed, Test completed. LPP in progress.

any one received Digital finger print request for the result to be sent by RCMP to IRCC, and they did that in Egypt, I am way for in Egypt a 5 weeks and got today request and don't know that exactly what Tod, in Egypt I am not sure they can do digital print and sent it to RCMP, they only do Ink

• Waiting for ceremony to be scheduled.
• My company did a mass layoff yesterday.
• My total comp was cut, and I will not see a refresh until end of year, if any at all.
• I'm working under severe stress and anxiety of another layoff.
• We're now fully RTO.

God have mercy on me and my colleagues. And hope I at least get my citizenship soon.

Just for information, I requested GCMS from IRCC April 2 and got them today, so it didn't take that long if anyone is planning on requesting them.

Can I ask, what does your citizenship have to do with your job and comp? I feel like you talk about your toxic company a lot when you speak about your citizenship as if it ties to your job, as a PR you are legally eligible to work at any job unless you need secret or top secret clearance (for example, CSIS and some federal agencies)
