Actually I would like to rephrase this question, how long did it take for the IRCC to acknowledge that they received the envelope with the fingerprints to the Immigration section in Mexico City?
Hello!
I'm on the same situation, awaiting for my PCC. I sent an email to the embassy of Canada in Mexico after I got the couriers proof of delivery (March 8th) and the embassy took 1 week to reply for aknowlegment of receipt (March 15th). I haven't heard anything since, even after sending a follow-up email last week :/

I never received any acknowledgement from the embassy, the only acknowledgement I received was from my courier saying that they were successfully delivered. They never responded to my email for a request if they had been received.

Probably I got lucky to get a reply from them, although they haven't reply to my last 2 emails.

I forgot to add that they were shipped/received in mid February 2023, not sure if that was taken into account. Other threads have indicated maybe 3-6 months before they get added to the file, hope I hear from them soon!

Hi, I'm in the same situation. After applying for EE, I got the letter from IRCC requesting the police certificate, so I'm sending the photos to the Embassy in Mexico (Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra 193, Col. Granada ). However, I have a couple questions:
  • the following information about your file:
    • your file number
    • the name of the visa office, Canadian embassy or consulate or case processing centre where your file is being processed
    • your full name and date of birth
The letter I got from IRCC has my application number, full name and date of birth, and it also says:
If the issuing authority procedure is to send the police certificate directly to the IRCC office, please refer
them to the following address:

Regular mail:
ATTN: EE Registry
Case Processing Agent
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
CIO – Correspondence
PO BOX 8400
Sydney, NS
B1P 0G6
Canada
Courier:
ATTN: EE Registry
Case Processing Agent
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
CIO-Correspondence
49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 5Z2
Canada

Is the above the same as:
  • the name of the visa office, Canadian embassy or consulate or case processing centre where your file is being processed?
If so, should I simply send this letter along with my photos?

Also, I understand I have nothing else to do after sending this package. Is this correct?
Did you ever get a response for this one. I am in the similar situation. Could you please let me know if you have received any update, if so how long did it take for you.

Hello Prudhvi100,

In my case, that's the one I used, from my PCC request. I included a copy of the request letter, photos, passport copy and fingerprints.

Did you receive any update? It has been 10 days since my documents were delivered to the embassy. I have not received any acknowledgement. I am not sure what should I do next?

Did you get any response further? Do they usually respond to every email even if it's delayed ? Or they don't respond to every email they receive.

Hi!

I haven't heard anything from the Embassy. The only email I got was when they confirmed they received my documents. But I've heard from other applicants they don't get any reply at all, not sure why...

They never replied; I've emailed them like 15 times, trying to get a confirmation or the status of the process, asking if they received it or if they already sent the documents to the FGR. However, Im just receiving the automatic response.
My timeline was
January 18th ITA to apply EE
March 10th Application submission
March 29th PFA Police Certificate Request
April 3rd, Canada Emmabsy received the parcel
June 12th My profile status changed. Now it says Background check IN-PROGRESS, but they haven't received the police certificate.
July 4th, Im still waiting.

Hello everyone,

This s my first and this is my status: I recently sent my fingerprints with all the documents needed to the Mexico Embassy of Canada, my question is: Do I have to upload anything to my IRCC profile? Some people recommend to me, that I need to upload the document with the tracking number just as proof and there is no other document to upload, or the best practice is not to upload anything and wait that IRCC to receive the Police records?

See the attached image:

I appreciate any help you can provide me

You don't have to upload anything. Canadian embassy will upload directly to IRCC. If you are lucky they will respond to your emails with the status otherwise you simply need to wait for 3-4 months for the status to be updates in your profile. Just keep a copy of the delivery acknowledgement and the emails you sent to embassy. once IRCC deadline to submit your pcc is nearby you can attach these to a webform and request for an extension . Make sure you do this 15 days prior so that they respond to enquiry within that timeframe.
