If we show work experience of more than 3 years, and IRCC can only verify work experience of 3 years, what happens then? Does the application get rejected or do they give points for the approved work period?

If they cannot verify work experience, that work experience would get removed / dropped and you would lose any associated points. For your application to continue, the remaining points you have must meet or exceed the score cut off for the draw where you received ITA.

If IRCC feels there has been any misrepresentation in the work experience that cannot be proved (i.e. fake documents, fake work experience), this can result in a refusal and a five year ban from Canada.
