Hello everyone please I would appreciate guidance here. I just received a procedural fairness letter quering my travel history ( even though I uploaded visa and stamp pages on my passport) and that I didn't disclose visa denial to another country. I at risk of being banned. Please how do k respond to this to ensure I'm cleared. Please help it's urgent, I was given 7 days to respond

There's no way to 100% ensure you're cleared. You just need to respond honestly and provide the details of the visa denial to the other country. Did you answer "yes" or "no" to the question that asks about previous refusals? If you want help writing the actual letter then I would recommend you hire a lawyer to help you. Good luck.

Thank u so much. I have a response written down. Im open to the possibility of hiring a Canadian immigration lawyer but I don't know how to go about it and Im hopeful it's not over yet so I'm willing to put my best foot forward

@Nyere Hello, any updates on your case?
Yes, I did what I could in. Gave an honest explanation, backed it up with all the documents I could to support my claim. I was denied the study permit and asked to reapply again if I wanted to but I was not banned.

@Nyere
That's very good considering how long they usually take dealing with PFLs, also that you may reapply anytime you want. May I also know how long you had to wait? I had a PFL on my study permit on January 5 due to allegedly overstaying in the US (which I truly did not). I replied with more evidence than is enough and I am still waiting. I know nearly 4 months of wait is nothing extraordinary, but God this is so frustrating.

I got my PFL on the 14th January and I got the reply on the 20th January. I didn't have to wait as long. Are u sure I submitted ur reply within the time frame.

Wow your reply was so fast. Yes I actually submitted my reply only the day after the letter. I sent emails to the Embassy from desperation and uncertainty whether they received the documents and they replied that my case was still under review. This whole situation has just mentally drained me.

Do you mind if I ask what your explanation was and what documents did you use to help your case?
