Apply for study permit while holding PGWP

Hello guys, newbie here

I graduated BCIT two years ago. Since then, I’ve been working full-time with PGWP.

Now I’ve decided to go to college and study again this September. So I am going to apply for study permit.

I am also preparing for CEC and my work experience counts 2 years on this July 2023. So I’ll be working until July.

But the college wants me to apply for study permit asap so I’m gonna apply for it soon. But when I get the study permit, is study permit valid from the day I physically obtain the permit? or is it valid from the day of the first day of class?

Because I heard that the work experience while holding the study permit cannot be counted as CEC work experience requirement.

From what I have seen it is effective on the date of issue.

So possibly the date for study permit overlaps with work permit, would the work experience while holding both study permit & PGWP be counted as CEC work experience requirement?

Because I’ll not be studying with study visa until September 2023, I still can use my work hours gained before September 2023 as a work experience for Permanent Residency application, I guess?
