If you are under sds then they will take about 2 days to 10 days max. If they found anything fishy they will throw you to Security screening and it has no timelime however on a average after consulting with many other applicants It may take up to 8 to 10 months.
usually carried out by VO abu dhabi mostly. Mostly asian are strangled in this dead sea.

I had been in contact with certain Chinese students stuck in same boat
I have studied HUNDREDS of GCMS notes and CBSA notes to understand there processing

Thanks for your offer but I don't think I need to DM you for more info. If you want to share anything more you can do it here for all to see. I am curious though as to how you have been able to study hundreds of confidential GCMS and CBSA notes of other applicants.
Well we were a group of students all stuck as SS and we have been sharing the screenshots of the part of GCMS notes we wanted to compare. Besides, trust me who so ever is thrown into SS ultimately scroll and search so much. About the phrase “no definite timeline for security screening” was the actual exact words by a VO when inquired thro MP’s office and then during the course of this hunt i also happen to know how CSIS notes look like.
So now you are bringing CSIS into this. You do know who CSIS is and that you would NEVER get any info as to the info they might have on you even through the access to info act in Canada?
There is never any EXACT time for an app to be processed. If you are sharing CGMS notes, all of your apps have something that has brought your apps to IRCC's attention that has flagged them and you are having delays or denials because of it. There is no big conspiracy here against you or your other applicants. There is a process that they all have to go through.
Relax, your app will be processed in due time. NOw with the Strike going on, expect it to take longer than it would have before.
Since you dont know the our side of big picture I would rather not plunge into it further. Thanks for your opinion anyhow.
Thanks for your response. My file was submitted under the SDS category from India and Medicals passed on 6th March and it is in review since then. I enrolled for May intake and classes are going to start from May 8th. Not sure what is stopping IRCC provide a final decision. I do not have any suspicious background. but why do they take this much time (Mystery)?
Well there is no answer to why, however not everyone undergo it. The easiest way to assure is ordering GCMS notes or otherwise CBSA which is faster.
Hello Bro i have applied under sds on 2nd June 2023 still waiting its been 5 months raised webforms did everything but still decision is pending....Tracker is showing Medical And Biometric Completed while Eligibility and Background Check in progress...i ordered GCMS there is no sign that my file is in security...Can you please help me out really depressed..How to know that File is in Security??
