Yes, parents that are applying with minors can apply online together.

The adults need their own account. You can invite the other adult to join you and apply as a family. One of the adults must create the minor application.

Immediately after receiving AOR, I got the following message. The issue is that i got my passport renewed on June 14th, 2018, as the previous one had expired and since you have to surrender your old passport to get the new one, i cannot send them copy of my old passport. How should i respond to this?

There is a gap in the validity period of the passport covering the (5) years immediately before the date of the application.



Please provide an explanation why the passport does not cover the entire period of time from April 6, 2018 to June 13, 2018 and whether you traveled outside Canada during that period.



It appears that you have a passport or travel document that was valid during your five (5) year eligibility period but haven’t provided the biographical page. Please provide a colour photocopy of the biographical page(‘s) which include your name, photo, date and place of birth, passport/travel document number, issue date and expiration date

If you have some official documentation link which has this info about surrendering old passport to get new one that should be enough to draft an explanation from your side.
