Minimum time to study in Canada for PGWP?

Hello!

What is the minimum time one needs to study in order to obtain a PGWP? Technically if the course is 8 months, and according to the DLI it is PGWP-eligible -- would that be sufficient?

8 months but then it is very tight to get the 1 year of work experience to qualify for CEC which is why most study for a minimum of 16 months.

Of your PGWPbis only for a year it is tough to get one year of Canadian experience in the proper TEER during that time amd you would need to get selected for express entry right away or you will be out of status and have to try and get a closed WP to remain in Canada while your PR application is processed.
