Indian passport surrender

tumhaari dimaagi sehat ka kya raaz hai bruh?! sometimes i feel like hanging a takhti (placard) around my neck, giving answers to standard but most commonly asked questions!
- is CAN PP needed
- why is my citizenship application tracker login not working (my oath is due)
- can i fly out of Canada after applying for citizenship
- is the full form of BLS - bossjikey life suckers

We had similar questions (at least in our head) when we were in the middle of the application process... Sometime folks are so overwhelmed by the process that they tend to stop thinking rationally and not even search the forum/thread before posting...
We've all been through it ourselves.
Hence where ever I can share my knowledge happy to chip in with my thoughts with a dash of humor

@sumitbajaj07 check your status on BLS. Status for all of my applications is dispatched thru Purolator, airway bill number mentioned for each.

agree with @abbas.pasha .

1) while oci portal allows you to crop, do it beforehand. i use the stock photos software that comes with windows 11/office to open n edit pics. it has a v easy "resize" option where you can put in pixels or mm/cm sizes and the photo will get adjusted.

2) yes mine are all showing as printed in NRI passport seva, and BLS portal says in transit from CGI to BLS, so i guess a week more at the most for these to reach me.

lastly, bhai teacher ke hotey hue doosre student se question pooch rahe ho! reminds me of the scene where Gita Phogat tries to teach techniques to Babita Phogat in front of the father. soch lo bhai....

Thanks for the update. I'll try this software. Are you using same photos for OCI which was used fotr Surrender certificate ?

- For 1 app(mine) it shows picked by courier Purolator Today
- For other 2 applications it still says processing at consulate general.

Thanks for the update. I'll try this software. Are you using same photos for OCI which was used fotr Surrender certificate ?

Email the BLS folks to enquire about the status of the other 2 OCI

even though I never paid for the courier for my OCI, purolator delivered it Feb. Till today on the BLS website it says ready for collection.

if you ever have free time to kill some day, go to BLS and say OCI de do. their small brains will get fried!

if one of your SC (for whatever reason) was processed later by CGI, everything around it will be say a day or two late right? quite possible that parents' SCs were sent to BLS first and the next one is in pipeline.

I submitted all 3 applications on same day.
Till now I only see tracking number for 1 , other 2 are still saying processing at consulate general.

I am following up for updates. The Canadian passport is expected sometime next week, so I will go for a walk-in probably in the first week of May.

@2017CanadaHo! I just got surrender certificate with cancelled passport delivery from Ourolator 5 minutes back. But my other 2 applications still doesn't have tracking number on BLS wesbite
