Can someone on Spousal Open Work Permit study Early Childhood Education?

Just to add hope you guys are getting them assessed from Education assessment body and not WES.

Ohh, I didn't know that. She has already initiated WES for both her degrees.

I tried to find education assessment body in Canada, but couldn't. Please help with the link.

For immigration assessment is different from the assessment you require to work in the field. This is the one I found:

Thanks. This link has another link for the six verifying authorities - https://www.cicic.ca/1374/obtain_an_academic_credential_assessment_for_general_purposes.canada. WES is one of the six - so I guess it's verification will do, and post that we'll reach our for CEC Registration.

See the education specialist page. WES website says somewhere that the evaluation can not be used for skills. I know this from fact but still if you think its ok then all good. Was advising you from experience but still your call. All the best.

Thanks. She has a B.Ed. degree from India - which she did more than 20 years ago. Should we get that assessed too along with her M.Sc.? Will it help in her getting a ECE Assistant job?

If she already has a BEd it would make no sense to admit her into a course for ECE assitant and especially give her funding to take the course because this would be a big step backward in her education work experience and she is unlikely to stay working in the position. The pay is very bad and it is a tough job which is why there is such a sensed gut workers.

Thanks for your response - we are going through this route only because ECE will enable her BC PNP; She is on work permit and can't do any other course to get her into a job in BC PNP list.

Please correct me if my understanding is wrong.
