IEC Deadline what next?

Hello All

so just a quick bit about me. I’m in the IEC profile and my deadline is May 4th.
I’m currently sitting in the Pool and waiting for a ITA.

im also working at a retail place and I wanted to know what to do next?

I need to work has I’ve had this job from the UK for almost 10 years and 2 years here. So I’m unsure what to do.Everyone I speak to is saying I need to apply for visitor visa…. But that means I won’t be able to work?

if so what would be the next step?

can I apply for a change of permit? Or extend my stay in canada or will they refuse that. The main reason is I just need to work as staying on a visitor visa won’t work for me.

Any ideas are welcome?

You need either an approved LMIA from your employer proving no Canadian or PR can do the job or another IEC. If you have LMIA, you apply for a closed work permit. You cannot work past May 4.
