I'm a single working mom, Pakistani, my son is a canadian national 19year old and currently studying in university in Canada
He went to Canada 8 month back. I am supporting him financially for his education. Issue is I can't live without him, I am alone working in Singapore and he is alone studying in Canada. Can he apply for my immigration, although he is not earning yet. How long will it take and what will be the requirements.

Multi post. Already answered. No he cannot sponsor you until he is earning LICO for at least 3 years to submit your name in the lottery. If he graduates in 3-4 years that is 2026. Then he has to make LICO for at least 3 years. Then selected for the lottery. So just to enter the lottery it may be 6-7 years.

Can you apply for a visitor visa? If you have tried you have a high rate of refusal with a Canadian son.

As others have said, It will be a number of years before your son potentially qualifies to sponsor you for PR. So this is not an option at this time.

If you wish to move to Canada, your options are:
- Obtain a job offer from an employer in Canada and have that employer obtain an approved LMIA so that you can qualify for a closed work permit.
- Qualify to apply for PR on your own through an economic immigration stream like Express Entry or PNP.

You can of course apply for a TRV to visit Canada. However a TRV does not allow you to live in Canada, just visit for a short period of time.
