Hello All,

I just created my express entry profile and I plan on exploring various PNP programs in the hopes of getting a nomination.

I heard in a video that we can apply for many PNP's at the same time, with the exception of Quebec, is it true ? The person on the video said that if you apply for express entry or PNP's, you must not be willing to settle in Quebec and vice versa. (as if Quebec belongs to a different country from all other provinces).

If this is case, I will avoid Quebec and focus on other provinces to increase my chances.

First, Quebec is not a separate country despite several referendums. It is a province. Sure you can select many PNPs if you are eligible. So research which ones you are eligible for based on job offer, score, NOC, family in province etc.

Thank you for your answer!

I am aware that Quebec is a province like any other. But what is surprising from the video (immigration consultant/agency) is that they're saying if you apply for Quebec (through their program) and apply for other provinces (various PNP's) it's problematic: if another province sees or discovers that you are willing to settle in Quebec they will not nominate you and vice versa, if Quebec sees that you are interested in other provinces, they will not pick you.

Is this true or not ?

Yes. You cannot apply for Express Entry with the intent to settle in Quebec. They have their own immigration system.

As per some videos/articles I checked: Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP), Alberta PNP through Express Entry, Prince Edward Island PNP through Express Entry, Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP).

But more research and trials are needed to confirm, each one has their own criteria of course...

What is your NOC and CRS score. Nova Scotia requires job offer. PEI (pop. 100,000) has specific requirements and prioritize those working in the province or those in health care.
