Hello,

I have received an ITA (express entry) and because i’ve lived in Australia for two years, I need to submit a police certificate from there. I saw stories here how people’s applications got rejected because a wrong certificate was submitted.

I know that I also need to get a license history doc (Victoria). I’ve applied for this one too. My question is specifically about the AFP document.

Below is the doc that i received today. Please kindly help me understand if this is the right one or if i should order another one instead?

I saw comments that it should include “standard disclosure” but i followed the exact instructions on the canada.ca website and this is what i got.

I would be very grateful for your help!

Kind regards,
Irina

That does sound like the right one. The one I submitted (and since approved) says:

Overseas Visa - Supply to a Country Other than Australia

Name Check Only

This is to certify that there are no disclosable court outcomes recorded against the name of:

xxxxxxx (my name)

Make sure you submit the traffic reports as well as requested because they WILL reject your application as incomplete (know from experience).

I am hoping you also have applied for Queensland one, even though you haven't lived there. So basically 3 PCCs for Australia- AFP, Victoria traffic history and Queensland traffic history.

Good, even I have been not to Victoria, still had to submit all 3.
could you please advise what documents you submitted to Qld? the only valid document I have from their B list is a bank card but in russia no one will even certify a bank card for me. i’ve asked a notary they said it’s ridiculous and they cannot certify it. i contacted the Qld department but they could not help, just said “this is the requirement”

I submitted release of information application form, 3 ids (if not having Queensland issued licence or other IDs) and fee.

what were the ids you submitted? i’m just trying to understand what they will accept
Read the page-2 of info release form it had the list if you no longer have Australian ids. Sorry didn't remember much but here is a list from the email they sent:

Provide certified copies of your identification to accompany your application. If you are unable to provide a Queensland issued driver licence, industry authority, marine licence indicator or adult proof of age card you will need to provide 3 evidence of identity documents. Please do not send original identification. Ensure banking card numbers are not visible. The witness must sign and print their full name, position title/designation and contact details (including office stamp). Acceptable witnesses are:

· Justice of the Peace

· Commissioner for Declarations

· doctor

· police officer

· solicitor, barrister or judge

· consular or ambassadorial office

· notary public

From category A you can surely do your passport, category B can be debit or credit card, govt approved ID card (not sure but I think I provided Canada provincial card)
