No response after application submission - new PGWP public policy open work permit

So I just submitted my open work permit application under the new 2023 public policy for open work permit for PGWP holders. Strangely, I did not get any response emails. In the past, I have always received an email of confirmation or receipt of application ... this time, nothing.

Note that the payment this time was different - the processing fee had to be paid earlier, and then the receipt had to be provided in the application (with client information).

Also see how there is no application number ... I am confused and worried ...

Don't worry, as your application has been submitted you have done it, and have proof of it. Sometimes IRCC notifications can be late.

The option of exemption from fees is standard so no issues there. As you are only exempted from one fee, you had to make a payment for the other free and the application system is only configured to pay all the fees and paying no fees.

What I am assuming will happen is that they will have to manually link the payment you made with your application and only after that will your application number will show up.

Do keep in mind that IRCC is closed until the 11th of April.

Don't worry, your implied status will now be active and if you received your work authorization email, then you can show that to your employer if needed.
