Plz urgent advice, I got Job but Employer asking for background check

Hi Friends,
I need your urgent advice. I got work permit, SIN and driving license but still waiting my Claimant ID (Brown ID) paper. Now I got job offer with a big company, Employer told me that my background check will be done by Sterling background checking company. I need to login on Sterling website to give my information.
I am Asylum seeker and still waiting my Claimant ID (Brown ID). I came to Canada via USA land border Lacolle (Montrial).
Now i am afraid that what will happen in my background check. My case still not decided and also detained on border as official requirement by border CBSA.
I want to ask if anybody go through this background check after work permit and did he/she faced any issue.
I am in worry because this is my dream job and don't want to lose it. Any advice or first-hand experience please.

The background check shouldn't be a problem. The background check is really around criminality, employment history, etc. The fact you are a refugee claimant shouldn't be an issue at all.
