BOWP and PGWP extension question

I have applied for my BOWP (applied after I got AOR for pr, currently waiting on response) in Feb of 2023. My PGWP expires in April 2023. I just got an email from IRCC that I have an option to "opt-in" for the work permit extension.

I am thinking of doing both but what are the implications for my visa status? Will both get approved? Or will once get cancelled? Not sure what to do in this situation. Anyone in a similar scenario?

I have almost exactly the same circumstances, applied for BOWP already in Feb. Was also thinking of applying for the PGWP extension but not sure. Bumping this thread in case anyone knows what to do. Let me know if you decide what to do or hear anything about whether we should apply for the PGWP extension.
