Hi guys:
I got my GCMS note today saying my eligibility is not met. My situation is really weird, I got my ITA on November 23, 2022, and I should be put into the FSW-Inland category but they had a NOC update on November 16, 2022. After that, the EE system think I am eligible for both CEC and FSW-Inland and then put me into the CEC category which I was not eligible for. However, this does not affect my CRS score nor my FSW score, it is just IRCC put me into the wrong category. I double-checked everything I filled in on the application and every detail was correct. I already submitted a web form explaining the situation. Any idea what should I do? Should I withdraw and submit a new one? I still have a high enough score to receive invitation next round.

Much appreciate any advice

Why is your eligibility not met ?
Is it because of funds ?

Why you are not eligible for CEC?

It says I have a part-time work from 2020/09 to 2022/05 while I was studying full-time, but my CRS score was not calculated based on this part-time work. I had 2 years of working experience before that. I worked 2018/01 to 2018/12 and from 2019/02 to 2020/08 in two different NOCs in TEER 0/1. That added up to 2 years and I got my CRS points for that. So really I should be FSW not CEC, but IRCC just decided to put me into CEC.

Did you put your Canada experience in work history ?

What does your ITA say ? Invited as CEC or FSW?

I did, I put everything in my work history from 2018/01. I went back and checked, I am pretty sure I filled nothing wrong and my employment letter matches the work history. My ITA was under CEC, but I should have been invited as FSW, I did not choose CEC, that was assigned to me by the EE system. At my round of invitation there was no program specified and I did not catch this before I submitted the whole application package.
