Can I apply for Bowp while on lmia based work permit?

I’ve already applied under cec with 50 points .

if I apply for Bowp and get it before or decision, will that take away the 50 points ?

employer is taking advantage of my situation but nothing illegal, so I can’t apply for vowp, and want a way out

You can apply for the BOWP but you shouldn't switch employers until you have PR since you've claimed the 50 points.

Hi,

I spoke to IRCC about this, you can apply for BOWP before your WP(Closed) Expires. While it’s processing you have to follow the current restrictions that’s on your WP. Once you get BOWP, you can work anywhere.
