Your mother does not have strong ties. Her ties would be a spouse and children under 22, job with approved leave, investments and investment properties. If she gets a pension, can money only be deposited if she is in India. If so show that documentation. If not, she can have a pension and live anywhere. Her other son is not a tie.

Your daughter is single and all her family is in Canada. That is the reason for refusal. Single, mobile people applying for TRVs have a very high chance of refusal. Attaching proof of tuition, letter for her are all she can show if she doesn’t have a job. Not sure how 5 and 6 proves ties. Those are not her funds or your mother’s.

I am not re-applying for my mother, only for daughter. I thought of adding proof of my assets in India to show that we (me or my family) have no reason to illegally remain in Canada.

She will complete her graduation in one year and will apply for a study permit afterwards (if I am not able to get PR by then). Will us being in Canada affect her chances of getting Study Permit as well?

And should we not apply TRV for her, lest it gets refused again and affect chances of her study permit?

I am sorry to ask so many questions, but I am in a fix now.

Your funds are not her funds and don’t show any reason for her to return. To get a study permit, she will need to show funds, career advancement to justify costs (job with higher pay than what she would get with current educaiton), education advancement (masters) and ties to home country. Yes, if she is under 22 and you are all in Canada then that will factor in on her chances.

She has one refusal so will know need to state all refusals on any Canadian visa application as well as the US, UK, NZ and AUS. These 5 countries share immigration information. She can reapply if she is addressing reasons for refusal. Her refusal will not impact a study permit as she will have to state past refusals.

Cannot tell you her chances but having all her immediate family in Canada will factor in. She has no family ties in India.

For a study permit having all your family tends to work against you because you need to show you will be returning home after your studies. Best chance would be to attend a very good university for your masters so you appear to be a genuine student and not just studying to obtain PGWP and hopefully PR.
