Hi,

I created an express entry profile as I'm shortly approaching my 52 weeks of Canadian experience. I have had 2 separate jobs, one from 2022-03 (march) to 2022-05 (may) and my current job, 2022-05 to present (so 2023-03). I started job number 1 right at the end of March and left in early May, and then started the second job in mid/late may - so it's not 52 weeks in total, but because march - may = 2 months and may 2022 to now is = 10 months, I guess the system just added those together and considered it 12 months and it said I was eligible for CEC and I got invited to apply.

Is this going to be an issue? That I created my profile before I had my 52 weeks worth of experience, or does it only matter that I had met the 52 weeks worth of experience by the time that I submit my application?

Thanks

Profile creation before 52 weeks is not a problem, make sure you only submit application after completion of one year of experience.

@brb2288 thanks for your reply...so it's ok to create a profile and say I have a years worth of experience before I actually do, in anticipation of meeting the 1 year requirement a few weeks further down the line? & then get invited on the basis that I had points for 52 weeks worth of canadian experience?

Yes , you can create a profile and system automatically calculate experience based on the month and year you enter for each job.if you get ITA submit application in mid late April to cover the gap you have between starting new job in last may.
