hi, so i am applying for the citizenship soon and of course one of the required documents is to provide a copy of all pages of our passports, the question is we have many stamps on our passports that are not in english; should they be translated ? if yes then can i translate them myself ?

If you are applying in paper you are required to provide copies of all pages of passports you held during the eligibility period, no need for a translation for your application to be accepted for processing. However, providing a translation would save you sometime later on when processing physical presence.
The application guide states that translations should be carried out by a registered translator, who is not the applicant or a family member.
Translation can be costly, depending on the word count. You might want to delay paying such cost to a later time in the process.

As mentioned by @RamyMN , you can spend a mini fortune getting this done. Rest assured that if you have a history of travel, especially to the Middle East, during your eligibility period, it will be asked. ALL non-Eng/Fr stamps/endorsements on ALL pages of ALL passports valid during your EP will have to be translated.
At one point you will have to translate all non English/French stamps .. If you are applying online, system will only ask for the bio page. (Only one spot available to upload) If you apply on paper, you have the option of sending them all at the same time with the rest of the documents.
Translation of documents
You must include the following along with any document that is not in English or French:
- the English or French translation; and
- an affidavit from the person who completed the translation (if they are not a certified translator)
- a person who is fluent in both languages (English or French, and the unofficial language); or
- a Canadian certified translator (a member in good standing of a provincial or territorial organization of translators and interpreters in Canada).

Outside of Canada:
- a notary public
Important information: Translations must not be done by the applicants themselves nor by members of the applicant’s family. This includes a parent, guardian, sibling, spouse, common-law partner, conjugal partner, grandparent, child, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew and first cousin.
Note: An affidavit is a document on which the translator has sworn, in the presence of a person authorized to administer oaths in the country where the translator is living, that the contents of their translation are a true translation and representation of the contents of the original document. Translators who are certified in Canada don’t need to supply an affidavit.
