Not required. The clinic will update it. But I did it anyway.

Yep. First, status changed to 'Application/Profile update'. After I read the message that I passed medical exam, it changed to 'Submitted'.
Also, tracker was updated today(27-Mar-2023) as medicals completed.

Sharing my experience: Got re-medical request today. I have already submitted old medicals expired in January 2022 which should be accepted under the new policy. Called IRCC and the agent also did not know the reason of re-medical, but suggested me to either go ahead with a new one or send a webform to the processing office to dispute this request. I've sent a webform this morning, will update what happen next.

I'm guessing I probably need to spend another $700 (me and my spouse) for a new medical.

Was requested for re-medical on March 17 and went to doctor's office the same day. Medical shows passed on March 29th in both GCkey and tracker.

i got a similar questions.. i got medical on 2021 feb but at that time my PR application was rejected due to another reason. Now I got invited to apply for PR again. Will they require me another medical ?I am under CEC
