Hello, I'm want to start application process for my spouse (outland application) and I'm currently receiving Employment Insurance *EI*,
How can I show CIC that I'm on EI as my proof of employment.

EI isn’t a sign of employment. It’s a sign you are currently unemployed. You’ll need to state you are currently unemployed and update your profile when employers employed.

Apology for not making my question very clear.
What I'm trying to ask is, CIC ask proof of employment i.e, a letter from your employer, and sisjce being on EI doesn't technically disqualify you, how can I show them that I'm on an Employment insurance? Does service canada give you income statement saying that you're currently receiving unemployment benefits or do you have to just send CIC screenshot of your biweekly income from EI?
I hope this makes my question clear.
Thank you

You should get a statement from Service Canada. Although there is no income requirement you are required to prove that you can support your family without government help so I would encourage you to find employment as soon as possible. Once you find employment you can update your file via webform to IRCC.
