January 2023 visa applications...yet to receieve ppr or rejection

This is my visa application timeliness:
Application date 12 Jan
Biometric 16 Jan
Medical 20 Jan

Since then there has been no updates....I applied for may 23 semester....now am getting very anxious.... raised a webform like 2 weeks back and yet nothings happened.....

Is anyone in the same boat and if anyone has information relevant to my case, plz enlighten Me.

So it is 10 weeks processing for most cases which was only a few days ago. Has file started eligibility review?

Nope....stuck on background check for now....

Have been told by some peers that sometimes eligibility criteria only updates after ppr .... but can't confirm if that's true

Also have noticed that many profiles are getting their decisions within a couple weeks .... wonder why my profile got stuck ? .... feeling so low these days

Has your file started eligibility review? SDS or Non SDS? First application? Country? Program? All these are factors in processing times.

My brother had similar profile....applied on 26 dec...got decision in 28 days

All in the timing of your application. Assume you are not sharing funds and showing own personal funds.

We both shared our own liquid savings which were more than needed for the 2nd year plus we shared our parents fixed deposits worth more than 6.2 million rs....

Though with sds profile you don't really have to show financial sources for the 2nd year

You say “we both shared our own liquid funds” so did you show same account statements or not? If you showed shared funds, and he applied first then he was approved based on those shared funds. You then applied with the same funds. See on this forum, the sibling applies first and gets approved and then the second sibling is refused based on the submitting the same funds. Again, all you can do is wait. Hopefully it will work out.

Obviously we shared our own seperate personal statements....
Also have seen several siblings get approved at the same time but yeah true all we can do is wait....but this wait is brutal lol...deadlines are approaching

Submitted my application (reapply) on 4 Jan 2023, Medical passed 6 Jan 2023, Biometric is not needed. Saturday last week got ghost update without any visible change in my account. it's almost 12 weeks for me.

Am sorry am not aware of what a ghost update is and did you apply under the sds category ?

Ghost update: You got no email informing the applicant that some updates are made in your file but when you open your account there is a statement "application/profile updated" and still you can't see anything changed with your application.
I applied under Non-SDS category.
