my eta says not started

i had a valid eta but my entry to US was denied in the past on esta due to immigrant intent i had a valid eta since 2021 when i was travelling to canada due to refusal stamp on my passport they didnt let me board the flight and they talked to me on the phone and says you want to remain permanently under 41 a and cancelled my eta and airline treated me very badly i have no criminal record at all now recently i have reapplied the eta its been more then two months status says not started and i got email about 1.5 months before says your eta remains underway and will continue at the can mission nearest to your home they will guide you for further steps nothing so far, whats does it mean ?? how long should i wait more ?? thanks

Your eTA application has gone for secondary review because of your immigration history. It's honestly really hard to say how long you will be waiting. Waiting many months is not unusual in these cases. Unfortunately there's really nothing you can do but wait and see if they ask you any follow up questions.

i got email about two months before said your eta remains underway and will continue at the can mission nearest to your address but its been 1.5 months i heard nothing nor they asked me to provide anything or interview just because of my US visa refusal stamp it effected me badly im thinking to withdraw my application and visit somewhere else theyre not interested in processing my application
