Hi everyone, I need some advice regarding validity of my Indian PCC. There is a lot of confusing information regarding PCC's on different forums so I just want to make sure. Here is my scenario- I got my Indian PCC from BLS Toronto in Dec 2022. I received ITA on 11 Jan 2023. I travelled to my home country (India) for 15 days in Feb 2023. Is my PCC still valid for express entry?

I just consult with an immigration lawyer about the validity of an Indian PCC and he said-
(I agree that there is lots of confusing information regarding the expiry of PCCs. I have always taken the position that if your PCC was issued more than 6 months ago and you return to that country (even for 1 day), that this invalidates the PCC. The reason I take this position is because I have had consultations with people over the years who have had their applications refused because of this.

However, in the case of your PCC issued by BLS, this PCC would be valid for 6 months from the issue date of December 10, 2022. Provided we filed your eAPR within that 6 month time period, it will remain valid no matter how many times you return to India during that time. This would take us into June 2023 before it would expire.)

Its your call. I am sharing my experience. I had got my Indian PCC from SFO Consulate in April or May 2021. I filed my PR in sep 2022 and even though my PCC was expired i didn't have to get it again. I got my PR approved without issues on PCC.

Did you travel back to India after getting PCC?
