Hi everyone,
My wife and I are sponsoring my mother-in-law and I have a feeling that our application has not progressed at all. Can someone please confirm? If so, what should I do next?

Application submitted: December 05, 2021
Medical request: June 08, 2022
Medical completed: June 18, 2022
PCC Request: July 19, 2022
Request for extension for submission of PCC: 11 Aug. 2022
30 day extension granted: 23 Aug. 2022
PCC submitted: 14 Sept. 2022
Waiting for next steps after this.

I have not been able to link my application to any online account - it says application could not be found.
I filled up the webform to enquire status and today they came back saying the application is in progress but did not provide any details. The application is in Mississauga office.

Please help me to understand what is happening.

Yours are better than mine. I only received AOR my parents didn't have a letter yet for biometrics

I did request GCMS NOTE last year October and December 2022. I didn't get any notes from them. I paid $5 each request.

Hello, I had the same experience with GCMS. I applied in Aug-2022 and sent a reminder after 30 days, and received GCMS in Oct-2022 after 65 days.

Hello, I never see 2 PR cards in one mail. I have seen various applicants where the Principal applicant gets the PR card after the dependents.

Hello, I had the same experience with GCMS. I applied in Aug-2022 and sent a reminder after 30 days, and received GCMS in Oct-2022 after 65 days.

I am not sure why it is taking more than 40 days to get your GCMS notes. I have applied three times and I always received within 30-35 days. Since I don't have anyone in Canada I used gcmsapply.com to apply. Costs nearly $6. To apply to both CBSA and IRCC it is less than $12.

Same timeline, submitted my Parents Passport on 28th Feb, Received at Delhi IRCC on 2nd March. The VFS tracker still shows in process at IRCC office. If anyone know the exact number of days it takes for Passport to be stamped and returned?

Did you get passport back or any change in online VFS status . Our passports were picked on Feb 27th by courier services and reached IRCC on March 2nd.
No change in status since March 2nd.
