IRCC requests that you not apply for the 'OWP under TR to PR Pathway' until 4 months before the expiry of your current permit -- likely to try to reduce the number of applications in the processing queue because many people might get PR before they need a new OWP. However, depending on your exact circumstances, they are not likely to reject it for arriving early if you provide a reasonable letter of explanation. For example, I submitted an OWP under TR to PR application in July 2022 when my Study extension came back as expiring in May 2023, without the ability to work off campus, when I had already been working off campus and qualified to work off campus based on all of IRCC's stated criteria. I wasn't sure if IRCC would 'fix' this issue on the Study permit so I also applied for the OWP under TR to PR. In the end, IRCC fixed the Study permit after much correspondence, and later in January my OWP was approved ... 3 days before I received the PR email.
Yes, you can still apply for OWP under TR to PR if you still have valid status or can restore your status. Read the eligibility, requirements & guidelines completely.

Linking your PR Card to your GC Account key (only after you receive eCOPR):
- Sign in to your GCKey Account home page.
- Below the list of your Submitted Applications, click on "Add (link) your application to your account."
- Select the category of Permanent Resident Card.
- Select 'UCI & Family Name' (I first tried Application Number & Family Name & it didn't recognize it. I entered UCI without a hyphen & entered Family Name in all caps.)
- Fill in the rest of the info (place of birth, country of citizenship, marital status, etc.) and make sure you enter the date that you received PR as the date printed on your eCOPR (not any of the PR email dates).
- Then click on 'search for my application', followed by 'link my application'.

You can apply in advance if you are the main applicant but IRCC says:

Medical exam for permanent resident applicants...
"You can’t get an upfront medical exam if you’re being sponsored as a spouse, partner or child. Wait for our instructions before going for your medical exam. The instructions will be sent to you after you submit your complete application."
But you can get ready -- look up where your spouse could get a medical & gather any of the necessary ID/documents in advance.

Thanks for replying to my question! I declared my stepson in my application already so IRCC know about him. But I don’t want to include his mum on my application hence this post. Will IRCC count that as misrepresentation if I don’t mention his mum under my spouse info?
They shouldn’t if he was not married to her or in a legitimate common law relationship. This is where a Letter of Explanation is very helpful. For example, he/you can state that you want to be clear that he was not married or in a common law relationship with his son’s biological mum and that is why she is not listed with your spouse’s info. You can say you are trying to be clear and follow IRCC’s definitions & instructions. Advise/ask them if anything should be listed differently, you would be happy to revise your forms accordingly or provide additional info if needed. They key is to be seen as trying to be clear & honest. I hope that helps.

Please has anyone faced this same situation???……… I was on a PWGP when I submitted my TR to PR application for myself and husband (who was not in Canada at the time) on May 7th 2021.I have since received three communications on our application but yet to receive the final decision:
**1st Communication- AOR March 31 2022
**2nd Communication-Request for Documents March 23 2022
**3rd Communication- Request for Additional Documentation August 26 2022
I also received a communication from IRCC to extend my PGWP to December 31 2024, however, a new work permit which was due to arrive by mid October 2022 has still not been received and PR STATUS has also not been approved. My husband is now in Canada on a work permit.
We have fulfilled all requests for documents and have received acknowledgement of receipt of all additional submissions. We have sent Webforms but still no response on our *PR STATUS*. We would appreciate some answers/guidance on this situation.

I would wait until Tuesday or call Canada post customer service. I’m not sure about Indian, but my son’s passport was issued in less than one week. I would add the Airbnb address and let the landlord aware of your situation. I did that when I had to apply for my study permit
I had some same situation as yours, so I will try to give you some advices here, BUT I AM NOT PROFESSIONAL.
It seems that:
you have/had a PGWP visa, (Is it still valid now? what's your status now?)
and you deliver the TR to PR application under International Graduate stream on May 7th, 2021
you have 3 updates, AOR March 31 2022, ADR March 23, 2022, ADR August 26 2022
you received the email from IRCC that about the work permit extension in August, 2022. this policy said that the work permit will send to you by mid October 2022.
You have no PR confirmation also work permit extension right now.
About your PR confirmation:
It's a normal situation that you are still waiting, me too, there are lots of people still waiting for this stupid PR confirmation. Since it is a temporary policy so it has no guarantee processing time.
And you can not get the newest updated status from IRCC website.
You may try to call IRCC or try to get a GCMS notes from IRCC to have your app status. There are lots of people here are waiting for the background check, or some other results. Hopefully the worst situation is that all the TR to PR case would be done before the end of this year. If you try to read more pages in this thread, you will get some useful analysis and informations about it.
Then all we can do is waiting and with patient.
About your work permit:
IRCC fucked this work permit auto extension program. You have to help yourself right now.
I had the same situation, received the email from IRCC in August 2022, and nothing mail to me.
IRCC they really want to do some good things, try to save the money and time for those people need work permit extension under TR to PR program. But they did a super terrible thing if this work permit did NOT send to those already got the email. There is a guy that in this situation keep waiting and forgot maintain his status here. his work permit finally expired.
My previous work permit was expired on Dec 31, 2022, I contact IRCC in early December 2022, they said that they had send all the work permit in October 2022, if I did not receive it, then i am not qualify. WTF, if i am not qualify, why you IRCC send me the email?
I believe that there are lots of similar cases, like the situation of us. Because all my family health card, visa, CCB ... all depends on it. I submit another work permit extension case in Dec 2022, then I have to wait it, PR and work permit.
Seriously, We should sue IRCC about that, maybe later, together.
So what's your situation right now? you still have a valid visa here to maintain your status? If so, you can apply work permit extension by yourself. If not, I have no idea about that, it is better that find a real immigration consultant or lawyer.

igot mine GCMS notes yesterday and they said officer not satisfied with my hours and need additional review.I got my GCMS notes 4 AM EST today, it's 30 pages long. Everything is in progress, they are not satisfied with hours of my work experience. I will submit an explanation letter with documents to see if that helps my case. It's long notes and seems that lots going on behind doors guyswe do not see that. I am impatient too

He has applied for a work permit extension since November 5, 2022, he was supposed to get a response on March 5,2023 but nothing has come through yet.
