Heard several cases said that before everything passed, they will change the Background Check status from "N/A". I guess maybe the Background N/A status means your file is sleeping and waiting for some decision or some information coming from outside IRCC.

I think your point is good enough. But I have to say that it is not all the cases are going to have the same processing procedure even they have the similar background, because I think it depends on the agents subjective judgment, and different cases maybe go into different queue.
