Hi everyone! I just received a portal email requesting my information and stating that my PR application has been approved. A month ago I left Canada for a vacation back home to Japan with a valid PGWP visa. I’m getting back in 2.5 weeks. Should I reply to the portal email that Im currently outside of Canada? Or should I rather wait to get back to Canada on Saturday and reply then? On my confirmation email it tells me to respond quickly so I’m afraid if they will cancel the application if I reply after 2.5 weeks… I would really like to avoid any delays to get my COPR. Thank you very much for any help!

Yes please, you have to do it in 7 days. Once IRCC gots to know you are outside Canada they will send you further instructions to follow once you enter Canada.
Thank you for your reply! I thought we have 7 days TO SUBMIT MY INFO TO THE PORTAL after the 1 st email & they create the account for me, but we have 7 days to reply for the first email as well?
Hey, could you please tell us what Ircc replied back to your email? Did they wait for you to get back to provide the ecopr?
