so I went to the physician and my xrays shows a small nodule in lung and they want the prognosis . management as well to test me for TB.

Went for CT scan last Oct 14 and they found out that this nodule is around 0.5 x 0.7 cm (5mm x 7mm) , seems to grow in size since my last CRT in 2014 , 3 yrs ago , which the report says is not recognizable in CT scan. However, the lung nodule seems to be on the same spot and because it is very small , it is indeterminate , meaning the size of it will not tell whether it is benign or malignant. Biopsy is not recommended yet because of the size of the nodule. My chest specialist is not concerned either as I am still 34 years old , non smoker and will just recommend to go for regular CT scans. All my blood tests for cancer markers indicate no issues.

As for the TB , CIC requires to have another repeat chest x-rays inn 3 mos time and a sputum test. The sputum test is currently ongoing while I have to wait for another x-ray in January
My specialist already give me a Tuberculin skin test, tested negative for any exposure to TB.

If there is any case similar as mine, appreciate if you could share your experience and what is the outcome.

I am confident that I dont have any TB, but my only concern is for the nodules which the prognosis per reports point tme to just undergo regular CT screenings to determine stability of that nodule.

Thank you.

Hello
I want to ask have got the visa after this all because even my husband got 3cm×7cm kind of mass on xray which was not found on xray in 2019. Ircc wants CT scan for this. Should i worry about that or not.

HI yes, I think in your case , you may need to that again as IRCC needs to ensure that everything is fine. I do not think that IRCC will approve the application until they are satisfied. In my case, all my xrays are stable after three months and they have approved it after. Just go for that x-ray hope for the best that they are still stable . This is better than a rejected application so good luck!
Can I file for visa while I'm waiting for the 2nd x ray held on 13th November? Will they make their decision after the updated medical?

hi mark! You have the same results as my husband. We just had medicals today and as per panel physician, we have to wait for ircc's further instructions. Are you in canada now? Did it affect Your application?

How big is the nodule?
actually it was small according to the doctor but you know they go right into TB testing instead of saying yeah we think you might have a chest infection get some medicine,,,,she was feeling out of breath and it got worse so she finally went to the doctor in April and git arithmycin as per https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/phac-aspc/migration/phac-aspc/tbpc-latb/pubs/tb-canada-7/assets/pdf/tb-standards-tb-normes-ch11-eng.pdf and within 2 weeks the crap was gone and so when she went back June 22nd it was not there and no TB,,,but they want to wait another 3 month to check again
