Could you share where you were stuck in your background check ? Security or criminality?

My criminality was completed in June 2022 and then my security started processing since June 2022.

Thanks for sharing , I’m stuck at the security AOR March 02 2022, i called the IrCC agent I was told my criminality was passed September 2022 and they started my security since September 2022. Still here and hoping

Quick question for you. On your portal does BG verification shows completed or in progress? I mean, do criminality and security both make background or one of them is prohibition?

Today I got my ATIP from CBSA, in IRCC portal it shows that my background is completed but prohibitions in progress.
In ATIP, it shows that criminality is completed and security clearance no status there.
DOes that means anything?

Background consists of two different clearances: criminality and security. Both need to be passed, for background to be completed.

It is normal. As your background is complete, you don’t need to worry. Security info is often censored.
