Congratulations . May I ask how long it took you to study the discover Canada book?
Studied for 2 days, 2.5hrs per day.
People have different capabilities, so you need to look at what works for you. I will also advise starting early so you will not rush it. However, you can never go wrong with practicing as many questions as possible.

Are there typically a lot of dates/names questions on the actual test?
Does the test have audio/video recording or just random pictures of the test taker at different intervals?

Questions are random, so I will be talking from my own test. Got about 5 questions that have to do with dates/names, and are spread between true/false and multiple choice. There are no audio/video recording/pictures. Just multiple choice and true/false questions.

You can read more about the test here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-citizenship/become-canadian-citizen/citizenship-test.html#toc1

Thanks for your reply
The audio/video/pic question was more in the context of test monitoring
