anyone else still waiting for updates? Still nothing on my end. Applied for GCMS notes around October and have not received them either. Just applied for the CSIS notes, awaiting response. Is there any email we can use to follow up about the GCMS notes?
In the same boat. Passed the test on Apr-13-2022, applied for GCMS in Oct last. Decision not yet made. Tried reaching local MP, only disappointment as they hardly help.!

What is CSIS, how's it different & helpful?

CSIS is Canadian Security Intelligence Service. They usually get involved for the BG or when an application is into security screening, which in your case is completed..
So imho you should not be concerned about this.

I applied in June 2021, passed the test Feb 2022. The tracker states that is was updated Feb 4 2023, but the last listed update is test completed Mar 1 2022. So, no progress for almost a year. I think the recent update is them redoing the background check that was due to expire (at least I hope so).

I sent multiple ATIP requests. IRCC responded to 1 out of 4 so far. I also complained to OIC about missing GCMS atip responses.
I exchanged some webforms with IRCC, but I never got a response that made sense. It was always some random text copy pasted from somewhere, talking about covid travel restrictions, or something else that was completely irrelevant.
The funniest part, was that the first web form I sent was a travel notification for a trip I planned for last June, and they replied with some garbage text in September. I was under the impression the whole time that the webform was processed when I submitted it in May, but I guess that was overly optimistic.

I just sent another webform in a more bureaucratic style or writing. Not sure if it will be more convincing.

I guess next is trying to call, just to be able to say that I tried, and then contacting the MP?
And after that it is either the press, or some legal action? Are there any other steps to try?

Some folks will say just wait, but I'd rather cough up a few thousand than wait 5 more years for some sloth to wake up on their own.
It hasn't been 23 months yet, but I'd rather have all the documents ready to escalate by that time.

Also, my PR card is about to expire, so that's pretty annoying. I am not sure if I need to renew it or wait, and there is no way to find this out, since they won't give any meaningful status updates.

I applied in June 2022 and beyond requesting info on a passport gap (which i gave a reason for on the application) ive had no movement. They couldn't read my email to them when i sent requested info so I sent my old passport via registered mail. This has somehow created a delay since Nov. They have had my old passport now for over a month and nothing has been updated. Everything in progress or not started yet.
My PR card expires in Dec this yr. I wasn't planning on renewing it but looks like I may be in for the long haul.

I hope you all get some progress soon!

Almost in the same boat. Aug-2021 applicant, Apr-2022 passed test. BG done, apart from that nothing. I guess we are in a group where the files are lying dormant and no one is caring to look into ti.
I am happy to connect to prepare for the press.

I'm not sure we have an entertaining enough story yet for the press. Somebody on this forum got stuck in a Kafkaesque nightmare with repeated fingerprints requests despite submitting them multiple times, and that was 4 years since applying. That was interesting for the journalists.

I'll probably start looking into escalating things between May and July, since for me mid-May will be 23 months from application date.
But I'm not quite sure how yet.

Same here - I am also planning to start looking for escalating options around July.
I think if there are more persons like me and we approach a press together that would really make a strong case, rather than going individually.

So, forgot about this thread.
I spent past few months trying to get any information about what's going on with my application with no success.
I already went through several webforms, calls, ATIPs, contacted MP, still no useful answers. Most of the time what they tell you is just plain wrong, and you have to explain things to them.
I am still waiting on LPP. According to GCMS, the status is ready for a review by PM03 and the application was referred from L1 to L2. I have no idea if there are any issues there, and IRCC representatives are of no help.

I'll probably go for a legal consultation shortly, and see if mandamus or reapplying is in the near future for me.

I also thought it was a good idea to look into visualizing the data from the spreadsheets that we have, and somebody posted some images they generated
https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/has-anybody-tried-to-generate-processing-times-histogram.800229/
This is interesting as preliminary results, but it would be better to get proper data from IRCC.
I emailed their stats email, hopefully we'll get something from them some day.
