Processing from Nigeria is around 320 days so within normal processing times. You have yet to start eligibility review but nothing wrong. All you can do is wait. You should get a response around June.

On the IRCC processing time website. Processing times always change and you go by today’s date not when it was submitted. It could have been longer in August and guessing it was.

Well, then I think it was 186 days. Will all the documents uploaded for the application still valid? I mean the Employee’s Letter, Bank Statement and Invititation Letter, huh?

Your file has not even started eligibility review and IRCC will review based on documents provided. If they want updated documents you may be asked. IRCC doesn’t expedite applications based on travel dates.

Okay. So, I’m to wait till June for the next update, right? Four months time from now, much time. Can I still add my kids on my application though my wife and none of my kids is going with me for the visit. I didn’t declared them. I only declared my mum n wife with my occupation with Government.

What do you mean you declared your mother? Now you want your kids to apply for TRVs?

I mean for the home country tie. I’m not applying for them. Just like letting IRCC to know kids, wife, mum and work here to return to but I didn’t fill the space for the children on the form I submitted.

Your mom is not really a tie. Your wife and children are. Why didn’t you include your children as ties in the first place? How old are they.

I have 4 kids age 15, 12, 8 and 5 years old. I did not understand the page on that well so I thought since none of them is going with me, that I should leave that. I work with Local Government and I have been working with them for 21 years. I thought one’s job in home country is a tie too.
