I'm thinking, you have to physically mail the documents to the concerned Consulate or Embassy. I got the same reply, applying online 24 Jan '23, their reply email on 26th. Have responded to the email asking WHERE to mail documents (Mumbai, Bengaluru or Delhi) , am a Pune resident. No reply back from them as yet, just an automatic response from the Webform I filled. So am thinking, to take a Risk, mail them to Mumbai Consulate, risk bcos these are Boarding passes I mail, as proof of RO, the photocopy of some is faint. Have about 1 week in which to decide.I also got the same reply , though I have already submitted the required documents. So I replied the same email with passport scanned copies again...

Hi Ski,Hello all,
My wife had applied for PRTD from online portal on 3rd December 2022. We are located in Germany. Today we got an email from Permanent-Resident-Card@cic.gc.ca that they need scanned copies of all pages of passport. But the email says:
The above information/documents must be received in our office within 15 days from the date of this letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application and loss of permanent resident status. Please quote your complete application number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the Embassy, High commission or Consulate processing your application.
Should we respond to the email or should we write a separate email to the Canadian embassy in Germany? Anyone else got a similar email?
@hruday02 , who’s created this Original Post, was my Saviour in this regard. I got stuck in Stage 2 ie entering Personal Information like address , name etc. He advised not to enter any special characters in the address field where street # is asked. I’d been entering D1 203 & getting msg “Your changes can’t b saved, pl try later” so i just entered 203 in this field & D1 somewhere else & was able to go to the next step successfully.I am getting an error while filling up the PRTD application on the online portal. Have tried various things but nothing is working out. Was anyone in this forum able to find a solution apart from the normal trial and error for the input values?
If anyone had raised a web form enquiry for IRCC, is there a timeline by which we can expect a response regarding the technical error?
Please help me out!
Hi,Hi all, just thought I would share my experience as it may help someone.
My husband and I applied for our PRTD's via the PR Portal, the first few attempts were rejected almost instantly with no reasons. After reading several forums we learnt what to look out for and we were successful on our 6th attempt.
For some reason attaching the use of representatives form kept returning our application. On the 6th attempt we submitted our application without the use of representative form and everything worked perfectly. It's also important that your application reflects submitted and the view button should be lowlighted. With our 1st - 5th attempts, we were always able to view the documents, that's how we established something was wrong.
We submitted our application on the 20th of January.
Got our PPR on the 26th of January.
Sent off our passports on the 27th of January and it was received by VFS on the 30th of January.
VFS then returned our passports with our visas attached on the 3rd of February.
Wishing you all well.

I just replied on email with scanned copies. Afterward I raised the webform also. Got PRTD . I never sent the physical documents.I'm thinking, you have to physically mail the documents to the concerned Consulate or Embassy. How about your case? I see you applying Dec 22? What progress???
After you submit the first application, the case will turn "submitted" and you cannot change anymore. Then, you can generate a new application in the same account, up to 3 application per account.Hi Taran,
appreciate your help in this regard.
Were you able to submit multiple applications via single online portal?
Got the same email request to submit scanned copies. I guess i will do both as well. When submitting from webform, I don't see the PRTD application type, what did you choose? use PR card instead ? ('Permanent Resident Card‘ and then 'Permanent Resident Card - renewal and replacement'?) How long did it take for you to get the passport request after submitting the scanned copies? Many thanksI just replied on email with scanned copies. Afterward I raised the webform also. Got PRTD . I never sent the physical documents.
I think @manpreet4875 is saying she replied back to the same email from IRCC so Changing the Subject & attached the scanned passport pages. I did so too, also physically mailed proofs of RO to the Bengaluru Consulate General. Still waiting, mine might take time I guess since just 2 days (732) meeting RO, so they got to check entry records w CBSA & exit records for last 5 years only by getting passenger lists from each & every airline, takes a month I believeGot the same email request to submit scanned copies.
