PR Card renew 730 days question

im asking for a friend

so i know you can renew the pr card 9 months in advance

my friend wants to know if his Non-PR days can be counted in 730 days ?
like student visa/ work visa period within this 5 years

anyone know???

No - they cannot. Only days after getting PR.

Yes, really.

They are confusing the residency requirements for citizenship and PR. Citizenship allows you to count days before you became a PR. The PR residency requirement does not allow this.
