PR Card Renewal & New - 2022 Processing Timeline

Hi guys, my application was returned this morning, it says photo missing and I do have a photo there! What should I do? Please help!!!!

That is not working for me and they already sent my card twice to a wrong address so it was returned both times. Still, 6 months to acknowledge solemn declaration is crazy.

No the web link to change address isnt for first pr card, it only works for pr card renewal. You can try this to change your address and requesting agent to re mail your card to new address - Call IRCC at 1 (888) 242-2100 . When you call IRCC, It will ask you for the UCI , press two i.e. no UCI available and then as soon as the Message for AF and UK refugees start playing press 330 in quick succession you will be able to reach them. The real deal is - dont wait to hear out the refugee messages

Yup, its stupidly hard to link the cards. Mainly because of variation of name of birth place. It took me a lot of tries to get it right.

I followed up with linking with lots of calls to IRCC and confirmed my address with them. It was some weird address from 2017 in my case too. That address was of a lawyer my employer hired to apply for a work permit in 2017. Somehow till now some of the IRCC things were using that address to communicate with me even when they did not have a form of representation signed any longer.

Meanwhile if you are in Canada or anyplace from where you can, get a B1/B2 for US. Thats the back door to enter Canada. Via USA. Go to seattle and walk across the border or hire a rental car (if you have proper driving license) and drive across the border into Canada from rainbow or peace arch. That way you can enter using CoPR. Do ensure you have one more piece of ID (like Canadian DL or something similar on you).

I mentioned correct address in the solemn declaration form, hopefully they will take action on that. I have to travel to India soon so COPR will not work, PRTD timelines look okay so I can atleast come back.

Just remember, PRTD is applied from within India. So you will not be able to apply for it before you are there. AFAIK.
I do not know how long it takes to get PRTD.
