Hi everyone.

I recently got my CBSA notes and it does not show security is in screening, just 2 activities redatcted performed on April 28th 2022 and nothing after that. I dont think my security is in screening but still my application is not being finalized and whenever I call they say security is in progress. I also got a GU recently and when I called I was told that security is still pending..

Is this how security is dealt when in screening or they are not not looking into my file ?

I received CSIS note(1 page doc) cpl of days ago. The letter confirms that I am under SS. I received this letter by regular post.
It contains the following text:

CSIS PPU 005 Security Assessments/Advice - Your Security Screening case is still in progress. The information has been exempted from disclosure by virtue of one or more of sections 21 (as it relates to the efforts of Canada toward detecting, preventing or suppressing subversive or hostile activities), 22(1)(a) and 22(1)(b) of the Act until your case is completed.

Someone who has received CSIS notes, has something similar mentioned on there note?

Hi, got the same text from CSIS. How long did your security screening take to be completed? How did you find out? Thanks in advance.

You can file a complaint with the Privacy Commission or the Information commissioner, as the case may be.

My security screening start on 26/6/2019 . I ordered three GCMS IRCC and three CBSA notes until now. When I received one I ordered new one , it cost but I couldn’t just wait .
SS start time same on CBSA note and nothing change in security part since security screening start but there is some changes like my ATIP requests and review my medical as example when it’s expired also notes about receiving emails from me and call from MP. I’m keeping ordering for hope to get update about SS. No else can I do beside waiting

Hi all,
I just got my CBSA notes that I ordered on Sept 12th.
Our AoR is Dec 16th, 2018. The CIC answer is that we've passed eligibility and criminality and security is in progress. I was told before that security check has started May 22nd 2019. I ordered these notes to see where we are in security. Please note that I am the principal applicant and this is for Express Entry-Inland PNP.
I would really appreciate it if anyone could take a look at my notes and let me know what they can see or verify my understanding.
From what I see, it seems like there has been an update to our security on Sept 10th. For my partner's security screening it seems it's been finished and the result is favourable. By for myself, the "Status", "SII Indicator" and "Validity Date" seem to have become hidden probably by the person preparing the notes.
Any one know why that is? and what it indicates?
There is due date of 2020/01/29 mentioned in a few places. Is that valid at all?! Are they supposed to finish the security check by then?

Best way to confirm if you are under comprehensive security screening is to request ATIP notes from CSIS. The turn around is usually quick. I got mine in one week via post.

Yup, it's the same process as the CBSA ATIP notes except they'll choose CSIS.

I would include something to the effect of: I am requesting information related to my cousin’s application for Permanent Residence. The application number is EXXXXXXX and the UCI number is XXXXXX… also include passport information. That should suffice for the details that they would be looking for.
