Hello everyone -
I am a PR living in BC, Canada and would like to sponsor a dependent child for Canadian PR. He was included in my initial PR application as 'non-accompanying child', is currently living in China, and is only 10 years old. He will be the only person included in this application.
Questions:
1. Since the child is under 18 years old, I, as a parent, am required to sign all the forms, declaration, etc. on his behalf. In this case, do we still need to submit the 'use of representative' form?
2. What if I would like to list my current address in BC, Canada, as the mailing address for my child in his IMM0008 form? Do we need to submit the 'use of representative' form then?
3. Is there any signature format requirement for signing on someone's behalf? Just sign my name only? Or, it should be like 'XXX, on behalf of XXX' in the signature space of the forms?
