Do you have an approved LMIA from your employer? If so yes but do it before February 28 when the policy ends. It has yet to be extended.

February 28 is the date for applying the Lmia or applying the work permit after getting the positive LMIA?
Please clarify.

I don't have a LMIA yet, if I find a job how long will it take to aprove the LMIA please?
Well you have to find an employer willing to pay $1k and fill out all the paperwork providing no one could be hired, only you. They will have had to have the job posted for at least a month. Processing depends on the skill levels. High skilled faster processing. Check LMIA processing on IRCC site. Assume you have ECA, IELTS and employment letters too.

Thank you for the quick reply.
I have a bachelor degree in business administration but I don't have any work experience related to my study yet, do you think I can apply for non skill works( like general labourer worker, farm worker, construction worker) and provide my CV with my business administration background education.

The job you are applying for in Canada should align to your previous education and/or work experience. Otherwise there's a significantly higher chance of refusal.

Do you even have a job offer with approved LMIA? If you don’t then you may not make the February 28th deadline and have to apply outside Canada. Your job should align with education. The whole point of an approved LMIA is that no one in Canada can do the job and you are the only one experienced enough.

I don't have an approved LMIA job yet. So I will not be able to find non skill job with aproved LMIA due to my education?
Sorry for asking too much, I am new on this process. Thank you

Finding an employer willing to go through the process is not that easy. The employer files and pays $1k and proves no Canadian can do the job, only you. So you want to prove you are the only person with the experience to do the job. Current policy ends in a few weeks so if you have an approved LMIA, you return to home country and apply.

You can certainly try to find a non-skilled job.

It may be difficult to get an approved work permit from IRCC for a non-skilled job because this will be a mismatch to your educational background and since you don't have any work experience yet.

Ok. Understood. Applying for a work permit will not affect my visitor visa in any way?

Well if CBSA thinks you are entering Canada to find work then you may be denied entry. You should be coming to visit and not find work. With the current policy ending, you would need to leave Canada to file for work permit. Processing can take many months and employer may not want to wait up to a year for permit approval. Where do you live?
