Hi everyone, my parents received a letter this month (Feb 2023) to submit their passports for COPR issuance. However, upon CIC's request, they did their medical examination more than a year ago, on Jan 2022. Should it be any problem in this case?

go ahead submit the passport and worry about the medicals later. the dates are close so do it asap. they may give you some extension on the copr.
btw, when you say "medical submitted", is it the date your parents went for medicals? if so then it is usually ahead of "medical passed". if you can check ircc status, look below the medicals line. there is a specific date. it means the officer have reviewed and give your parents green light. that's the date that really matters and affects COPR expiry.

Thanks for your comments. The issue is that we cannot link the application online. We cannot see the application on their online tools to see the "medical passed" date!

Hi guys!

Does anyone know any process to transfer application from one office to another? Its so frustrating to see Mississauga and other offices processing file and sending out passport request while Vancouver office is just sitting on it.

Anyone from Vancouver office got their file moving?

Thanks!

Hello friends!
I received a letter asking Updated residential address, Medical Examination, Passport, RPRF, Proof of Relationship, PCC, IMM5562, IMM5546, CV Resume for my parents. They completed the Medical examination and waiting for PCC. The letter asks to submit documents using myCIC account.
Questions:
-Do I need to submit all documents again even though there is no change?
-I am unable to link my application to the GCKey account - what's the way out?
-My parents completed Biometrics in the year 2020 for the visitor visa application -How do I get it linked to the PR application?

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Once you create your GcKey account. You will be able to see the Biometric results automatically get linked.

Hello ,

I received my sponsor approval letter on January 18,2023 in which they mentioned they will be moving the file to Vancouver office. Can I please know the average timeline between sponsor approval letter and medical request from Vancouver office?

Thank you
