Yes. You have to reply to the test email and once they approve your request you can take it from US.

PS - unlike what their letter says, where we took the oath in person, there were SO MANY guests, most to watch the ceremony, others to handle kids or applicants who needed assistance.

Hey do we need to take photo of ID proof or our live photo before starting the test?
Just align your PR card in the box that shows up on the screen. Make sure your face doesn't show up when taking photo of your id. Your hands or fingers may show in the box and that is fine. It won't be picture perfect but try to click a picture that is close enough to being clear. You can try multiple times. Second page will be you taking your own picture.
I was so anxious that I accidentally clicked my own picture in the ID section
but soon realized and fixed it before starting the test.
