Express Entry - Permanent Residents
If you are applying for permanent residence in Canada, you must provide an official letter issued by your financial institution indicating your financial profile. This must:

• list of all your bank (chequing and savings) and investment accounts, the account numbers, dates each account was opened and the balance of each account over the past six months,
• list all outstanding debts, such as credit cards and loans,
• be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution, and include your name and the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and e-mail address)

Do i need to do this or just upload the letter saying I have been invited to apply under CEC and I do have a full-time job also

If you got invited under CEC, it's not mandatory to show funds.

As you mentioned amount in funds available, in you application section that prompted your profile to have this folder. If you make it blank or 0 in your application section, the financial document folder will go away in document submission page.

I would recommend write a cover letter explaining you received an ITA under CEC and you do not need to show a funds, include your ITA document in that folder if you want.

About the "official letter issued by your financial institution", do I need to request this letter from my bank branch, or can I just download my bank statements of the last 6 months?

I'm applying for express entry, and the "Proof of Means of Financial Support" is a required document.

I requested the letter from my bank. It seems most banks have a template for that letter, since a lot of people have been requesting that in the last few months. I had to go in person to the bank branch to request the letter, but they did it quickly on the spot.

Thanks for sharing your updates! If I may ask, did you end up collecting the letter from all banks or just the one where you keep money?

All banks where I have money, including investment brokers. Investment brokers will probably provide the letter by email if you contact them.
