There is another person who also got 6 months mentioned in his oath Pdf. I am trying to find out if this is just a typo.
Is your oath date Feb 16th too?

My oath is on Feb 15. I got an email from the Calgary office as well and it says I have been approved for an oath from outside Canada and it'll take 6 months to get my citizenship certificate. I'm in Vancouver and I never requested to take an oath from outside Canada.

Yes I did change my address. Just email them about address achange (to the email id in the oath invitation letter) OR you can tell them on the oath day.

Thanks. I changed it via ECAS, and they updated within a day.

Thank you for response, let me clear my self, can I apply for passport with online certificate print or do I have to wait for original certificate? I am not enrolled for online certificate pilot program.

How do I enroll myself for the online certificate pilot program?

Strange. Did you take the test outside Canada? Were you outside Canada at any point during the process?

As per the other members nothing to worry about as page 8 mention 2-4 weeks. Page 4 is not applicable for you if you are within Canada. I have seen same thing happened to 3 more members so it’s all good.

I received the same email and just a few minutes ago received another one saying disregard the email sent on Jan 30 for taking the oath outside of Canada.
The new email address that sent this second email is :

Yes, same. I got an email this morning saying to discard the previous notice sent on Jan 30th and sorry for the confusion. It says I'll receive the citizenship certificate in 2-4 weeks after the oath ceremony.
