I will give y'all a well detailed information once I get some free time from work. I work everyday so, it is hard to squeeze in time. I just want to make sure the information I give is well detailed enough that will be very informative and will help others in this group.
Yes, I am single. No kids. My grounds wanting to remain PERMANENTLY in Canada that I presented in my application is base on Establishment and hardship ( with a bit of " medical "
as an icing on the cake. However, I did not use it too much as a point).
Also, in my application, I requested for " an exemption from the immigration law regarding overstaying my visa due to "circumstance beyond my control".... Keep in mind that I have already included an " IMMIGRATION STORY " that I included in my application about my life since the day arrive Canada till present.
Your immigration story is very important. This should the FIRST document an immigration officer should see in your application once they open it. It helps an officer to know you well in how you came to Canada, things you have been doing and circumstances that happened in your life that is beyond your control that made you overstay your visa and reason why you decide to remain in Canada "permanently ". Some of this information have to align with " pre-existing information" immigration officer have about you on their computer system. They will cross some of your claim with information they already have about you.
You should narrate like a story using paragraph so than your points are presented nicely...
it was @kaytoon in this forum that recommended it to me. I point this out because there is a question asked in one of the form. The officer who worked on my application acknowledge it in my AIP letter.
Also note that anything you say or claim in your story, always back it with evidence. Don't just say or write . Back anything you say with evidence.
For example:....
1) My name is Nicole. I am a citizen of England. I came to Canada as a "valid " student visa in 2015 to study a degree in mathematics. ( Please, see evidence of copy of my passport, study permit, birth and letter from my university in Canada on page 1 )
2) when I arrive Canada, I started my university education and registered as a full time student ( pls, see evidence of my registration letter from university on page 2)
3) My parents are my primary financial sponsor of my education in Canada. (Pls, see evidence of affidavit letter from my parents stating that they will sponsor my education and all my living expenses in Canada. See evidence on page 3).
4) Unfortunately, I got a sad news from my country that my parents were ill and suddenly passed away . ( See evidence of doctors report from my country, death certificate, and pictures of funeral on page 4)

.ensure points written in each paragraphs are related. Also, write different point in different paragraphs. It makes it easy to read and understand your immigration story.
Above is the best format to present a detailed story about your IMMIGRATION HISTORY in Canada. This is how the officer will get to know you. Adding evidence to everything you say add lot of credibility to your what you say. Trust me . It is human that when someone say something and you back it up with evidence, it help gives what you say a lot credibility to the point that they would not have any reason to doubt you.
Now, they will Begin to understand who you are and why you truly want to Canada WITHOUT LEAVING ROOM FOR AN OFFICER TO ASSUME ANYTHING ABOUT YOU OR YOUR INTENTIONS.

This is a critical document I notice a lot of people omit when they submit their application to IRCC. I know lot of people do not know about it...in fact , @kaytoon did something similar and she was approved.
Remember, you know your immigration story and history MORE than a lawyer because it is you that experience it , not a lawyer. You are in the best position to write it yourself. Most lawyer don't have the time or deliberately omit this document, or in some cases, write a short or less detailed information about your immigration history and story. Let me ask you, how min consultation do you have with a lawyer that he or she can know every about your immigration history...you know most lawyers don't spend enough time with their clients to gather this information.
Lastly, always ensure that you show someone who is not related to you to help you PROOF CHECK all what you have written in your immigration story. This is why important.. avoid given it to a close friend or relative because there is the tendency for them to be biases. They would not be able to spot flaws or contradictions in your what you have written. Also, they might be shy to tell you the truth when they notice a mistake. But with someone who is not related to you, the person will not sugar coat any mistake they notice. They will call it out as they see it. They will be less bias.... Keep in mind that your immigration story have to be SELF EXPLANATORY.you will not be there when an officer is working on your application to clarify anything that they don't understand in your statement.
This is why you always have to put yourself in the show of an officer. Ask yourself, does my immigration story make sense. Is it self explanatory ?....if unsure, give it to someone who is not related to you to review for any mistake.
