Yay!!! All are completed now. Only Ceremony left. Yahoo!!!!
This online citizenship application would be my last Canadian government related application that I would submit online. From now on, I'll do stuff in person or by paper and mail as far as possible. It's more than 3 weeks since the completion of background check and still no test invitation. I really regret to send my application online.
Yes, I’m not in a hurry. RCMP is free versus $57 and $25 Federal fee
For RCMP it says. They don’t charge the 25$ Federal fee for citizenship going by their website. I actually withdrew my application back in 2020 when the application fees were supposed to be abolished. I’m happy to wait for RCMP but wasn’t sure if people were walking in

I’ve been invited to take the test but reading the instructions, it says “you cannot use mobile phone, Microsoft Surface Pro”.
I don’t understand! Microsoft Surface Pro 7 - the one I have- is a fully functional computer. Not sure why IRCC doesn’t want me to use it.

It could be that they may had issues in the past with the above which is why they have asked people to not use it.
