Will CRS score lock after I submit the application?

I got an invitation to apply and I am about to submit. I have 50 pts from Imia, but I am also planning on changing the job and that will result in me losing that 50pts & fall below the line. I am wondering whether my eligibility will get locked after my application submission, or after some other form of approval down the line? Thanks!

The short answer is no, this is not locked on submission. Eligibility is reviewed later on as part of application processing. If you have switched jobs and IRCC identifies this during the eligibility review, then you could lose the 50 points and no longer qualify.

Normally several months. Hard to give an exact number. Safest to remain in the job until PR is approved to avoid any risk.
