Hi,
I'm doing my Oath on the 2nd, and I would love to cross the border and go skiing in the US with American friends on the 8th. I have a UK passport.
What happens if I cross the border before my Canadian Passport has arrived. On my return to Canada, if I present with my UK Passport, cut up PR card, Quebec drivers license and health card, Record of Landing and (if it's arrived but probably won't have) Citizenship Certificate, what will happen?
I assume they will let me in to Canada as they cannot turn away a citizen and I will have enough documents to prove my identity. Any other British citizen would be allowed into Canada with only a passport, so I don't see a reason for them to give me hassle.
To be clear I would be driving across the border and back again, I don't need to get on a plane.
Thanks
